The Mini Mental Block is a shape variation of the well known Skewb puzzle. Due to the different shape blocks the puzzle rapidly becomes an irregular mess. Because of this visual complexity and its difficult nature to manipulate, the puzzle can be somewhat challenging even for proficient solvers of the Skewb.

Since a keychain skewb is used for the inner mechanism, the puzzle requires cautious handling. The small size may cause pieces to bind up when turning, leading to pieces that may pop out on occasion. While the puzzle won't be damaged by popping pieces, it may be rendered "unsolvable" if the piece is not returned in its proper orientation.
